Step 2: Plant Your Favorites

Flip over the pallet. Tightly pack your favorite annuals into the top openings (I used nasturtium and linaria). Pour two bags of potting soil into the pallet. Push soil down to fill the bottom cavity, then plant lobelia or sweet alyssum between the slats above it. Working upward, repeat this process, pushing soil against the flowers you just planted.
