Look carefully: This chic little office is actually a closet. Jones, who has been ultra-organized since childhood ("Friends always admired how neat my locker was"), knew she'd be able to find a pretty place for everything.

"This was my husband's and my first time putting up wallpaper. A couple of hours later it was in a heap on the floor, but a little wallpaper paste fixed it right up."

To maximize the tiny space, she replaced the door with curtains and mounted a desk surface and shelves on the wall. "Now it's my writing sanctuary," she says.
