Before, living space: The space presented a set of challenges: How to use sleek, modern upholstered pieces, which seemed out of place in the expansive, sunlit house? How to accommodate the kids' ever-growing collection of toys? And lastly, how to make the room sophisticated enough to entertain friends? Amy Leonard and Ingrid Leess, a team of Connecticut-based designers, worked to create a kid-friendly yet sophisticated space.
