Closet #1: Crisp Efficiency

First, we asked her to make it over for the woman with a work-worthy wardrobe heavy on accessories. Without overcrowding the space, Starr encourages using every element of the closet's architecture. Here, the back of one door is covered with a shoe rack, while the other holds oversize hooks for suspending handbags and scarves. The closet is also outfitted with a set of low drawers, flanked on one side by a laundry hamper and a basket for dry cleaning on the other. A canvas hanging shelf provides a neat spot for folded clothes.
