6. Fishnets. Believe it or not, they're very wearable! For a bold look, pair with a pencil skirt and pointy heels. A more subtle version: Try a flesh-colored pair, peeking out from under a knee-grazing skirt and high boots.

7. Patterned leather bags. Try anything from mock crocodile to a raised, pebbled texture.

8. Chandelier earrings. They're still going strong, in soft tones of gold and silver with interesting stones like aquamarine and garnet.

9. Ladylike belts. Look for one with a polished buckle. Wear high, around your waist, over a blazer or sweater.

10. Metallic touches. A shiny silver clutch or pair of strappy sandals add flash to an evening outfit.
