Her talent is big and her hair is bigger -- and that's exactly how superstar Lee Ann Womack likes it. "I'm from Texas," she says, laughing, "I like big hair!" Womack even sports a voluminous mane on the cover of her latest CD, There's More Where That Came From.

In fact, Womack's timing couldn't be better, as the modern version of big hair -- loose and sexy -- is a perfect fit for summer. Today, Womack, 38, lives in Nashville with her family and keeps her home routine simple by pulling her thick hair into a ponytail. On tour, she wears her hair loose -- with styling help. "Growing up in Texas meant that I learned a lot about hairspray and teasing," Womack says.

She's thrilled to pass that know-how to her daughters, Anna, 6, who is a "total tomboy," and Aubrey, 14, who loves dressing up. Clearly, her husband, Frank, is outnumbered by the ladies. "He says he doesn't have much voting power. And he doesn't!"
