When your name is LeAnn Rimes and you've been famous since you were 13 years old, every hairstyle is public record. "I look back at those big cauliflower bangs, as I call them, and it was hideous," says the 23-year-old. "But I'm not ashamed!"

Indeed, Rimes, who released her latest CD, This Woman, this year and who's hosting USA's Nashville Star (a talent search for the next big country sensation), has nothing to be ashamed of -- her wavy hair is the epitome of easy summer style. When she's at home in Nashville, Rimes follows a fairly simple regimen, including shampoo, conditioner, and mousse. "I like volume but not huge hair, so I'll pull it back into a bun or a ponytail," she says.

Rimes is having a blast on Nashville Star. "It's a fun way to get my personality out there," she says. "People are always surprised to discover that I'm actually a nice person," she adds, chuckling. In fact, Rimes is such a nice person that she's also a spokesperson for the Children's Miracle Network. And happily, her hair is pretty great, too.
