Another Oscar night winner: Renee's sleek, pulled-back hair style. Great for day or night, this updo works well on all hair types.

Step 1: On towel-dried hair, apply the correct styling product for your hair type from hair roots to ends.

Step 2: Blow dry hair straight and smooth.

Step 3 -- Create a deep side part. Add a bit of lift to bangs with a volume spray or gel. Brush back remaining hair on both sides of part, secure into an elastic held ponytail at base of neck. Lightly tease ponytail with a comb. Spin tail into a chignon, and clip into place with pins and a hair accessory, concealing the elastic. Shape bangs in place, and mist entire hair style with hairspray to secure.
