Backstage at Jenny Packham's Spring and Summer 2014 Runway Show, it was all about glitter and whimsy. The designer was inspired by the exquisite styling of the 1975 cult Classic Film, Picnic at Hanging Rock. Her collection represented a '70s take on austere Edwardian attire. The makeup for the show was created by Talia Shobrook for Laura Mercier Cosmetics. It highlights the contrast between the eras combining a flush of innocence with a hint of naughtiness. To create the look, Shobrook began with Laura Mercier Foundation Primer followed by Tinted Moisturizer. Next, came a flush of cream cheek color in Sunrise applied with a big blush brush. Shobrook then applied Laura Mercier's Foundation Primer in Radiance just over the T-zone to create a fresh and dewy look. To add an ethereal element, Laura Mercier custom-made silver glitter for the show. A mix of fine and chunky glitter was applied to the eyes. Shobrook finished the look with a wash of Laura Mercier crème smooth lip color in spiced rose and pink blush.
