I lost 70 pounds and I've kept it off now for 8-1/2 years. My number 1 tip for weight loss is definitely keep a food journal. I really don't think I would have been as successful as I was if I didn't keep a food journal. I don't think you necessarily have to do specific calories, or carbs, or points or whatever it is you're doing. But just make sure you're truthful in your-- in your food journal. My best tip for weight maintenance is simply to do what you can when you can. And that's why possibly now, sometimes I'm not motivated, but I still get up and maybe I don't go to the gym, but I take a walk. Maybe I don't pack my lunch, but I order a salad. So I always doing what I can when I can and it's made the biggest difference.
