Over the past 12 years beauty company L'Oreal Paris has raised a pretty penny to fight ovarian cancer, the deadliest of all gynecologic cancers. Thanks in part to sales of charitable products such as those in the Color of Hope cosmetics collection, the business has donated more than $18 million to fund the fight against the disease. The money goes to the Ovarian Cancer Research Fund, L'Oreal Paris's longtime charitable partner.
"By helping to build awareness of the disease and its warning signs, we're working toward improving the five-year survival rate and, ultimately, finding a cure," says company president Karen Fondu.
